Paul Guernsey, a former editor and associate publisher of Fly Rod & Reel Magazine, is an award-winning novelist and nonfiction author. His books include Beyond Catch & Release: Exploring the Future of Fly Fishing and American Ghost, which won the 2018 Maine Book Award in the speculative fiction category. Rolling Back the River is his fourth novel. He lives and fishes in Maine.
